Oatly ReRuns is a series of fashion drops in the name of sustainability. Since sustainability is core to Oatly’s mission, we decided to shake up our merch offering by pledging to use no new materials.

Beyond a line of t-shirts with plant-based messaging, Oatly ReRuns also includes collaborating with diverse, up-and-coming artists for limited-edition clothing drops, with all proceeds benefiting the Lower Eastside Girls Club.

I’ve had the pleasure of running this program, from it’s initial conception to the day-to-day collaboration with the artists involved in the drops to the creation of all video and still assets.

Oatly Department of Mind Control / Role: Creative Director

Drop #1: Denim Jackets

We commissioned 10 denim jackets and collaborated with a diverse, all-female roster of textile and lettering artists that screen-printed, embroidered and hand-painted their designs on the jackets.

Drop #2: Holiday Sweaters

For this second drop, we worked with 10 textile artists from around the world to create embroidered holiday sweaters.

The drop sold out in less than an hour!

Drop #3: Raincoats

Welcome to Drip Dry High! For this drop, we created a fictional 90’s sitcom where the rain never stops and the faculty is doing everything they can to deal with it.

We partnered with 10 amazing artists around the world to create the raincoats.
